MesseBasse is the meeting of three characters, different from their respective musical culture and performances: the dark and noisy world of Douleur Fantome & Créature (aka Vincent Vigier) comes into resonance with the experimental approach of the bass guitar of Fabrice Richard, both being sublimated by the panicked, visceral but haunting vocals of the theatrical Azusa Kurokawa.
After two albums released on the modest french label A-haeon, the experimental Noise progressed towards a more instrumental maturity, MesseBasse delivers a third installment, enchanting, heavenly and powerful. Quiet but disturbing, sad but positive, that ends up making us forget our materiality…
